Here we are with this month’s update, which may be the final one for a while:
We have confirmed with our fulfillment partners that your games should have already been shipped! This means that it should already be in your hands OR on its way to you!
For backers who have not received their games or have not received tracking yet, please send a message to our contact form here: www.level99games.com/contact-us .
With this, we should see the end of this project! If you’re enjoying Empyreal, please leave us a rating and a comment on BoardGameGeek (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/220367/empyreal-spells-steam) or feel free to tag us on social media @Level99Games.
Again, we at Level 99 Games want to thank all of you for the patience and support on this project. We hope that your table will be filled with magical train adventures!
Happy gaming!
]]>We're back from our holiday break so let's talk about the updates:
Canada - With the USA and Asia shipments done, our fulfillment center in Canada has finally received your games! They're currently in the process of cataloging the games and making sure they're accounted for. Once that's finished, they'll begin the process of sending the games to your doorsteps! This should take a week or two for the games to be shipped out, and another 1-2 weeks for things to arrive at your door, depending on where you are. Please look out for shipping notices soon!
USA/Asia/EU/UK/AU - Your games should have already arrived by now! Note that USA and Asia have been added to this segment. If you have not received your game or have not received any tracking, I would suggest that you send us a message on our contact form here: www.level99games.com/contact-us .
Thanks for your patience and support on the project! With this new year, we hope to get you your games so that you can have a happy gaming new year! If you’re enjoying Empyreal, please leave us a rating and a comment on BoardGameGeek (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/220367/empyreal-spells-steam).
Happy gaming!
]]>Thanks for your patience! We’re handling issues that pop up as we speak. So, here’s the update:
USA/Asia - Shipping the games has begun for backers who did not get the Deluxe Edition of the game. A shipment containing the Deluxe Edition orders has been delayed due to a clerical error on the part of our shipper. That’s resolved now and things should move forward soon. While these kinds of delays are out of our hands, we’ll make sure to keep you informed and work continuously to get you your games.
Canada - Shipping in Canada will begin once those missing Deluxe Editions mentioned up above arrive. We’ll keep you updated regarding this as well, but we expect things to reach you sometime this month, barring any major winter storms.
EU/UK/AU - The games should have already been sent out or arrived at your home. If you have not received your game or have not received any tracking, I would suggest that you send us a message on our contact form here: www.level99games.com/contact-us . We want to make sure that you’re satisfied with the game you’ve got, so if you have any concerns, shoot us a message and we’ll try to make things right.
That’s it for this month’s update! Thanks for your patience and support on this project! Keep an eye on here for further updates regarding fulfillment.
Thanks so much for supporting this project, and we hope that those of you who have received Empyreal so far are enjoying it! For the rest of us, it won’t be much longer.
Happy gaming!
]]>Empyreal’s fulfillment is still in progress as we speak! Here’s a quick status update:
USA/Canada - Fulfillment has started. If you still haven’t gotten a shipping notice, please continue to be patient—even if fulfillment has begun, it takes a week or two for all the games to be shipped.
Asia - Fulfillment ongoing, but still awaiting add-ons.
EU, UK, Australia - Fulfillment is complete and the games should be on their way to you or already in your hands! Anyone still waiting for add-ons should send a message to the contact form.
We endeavor to get everything right. However, a small percentage of errors are inevitable. If you receive games with damaged or missing components, please contact us at www.level99games.com/contact-us and we'll do whatever we can to make it right.
Thanks for your patience and support on this project! Happy gaming!
]]>Greetings friends,
Fulfillment is progressing as planned with Empyreal this month. Here’s a quick status update:
USA/Canada - We’ve just gotten word that games have been imported and arrived at Asmodee North America’s Warehouse. From here, our stock for fulfillment is broken off and shipped to New Jersey and to eastern Canada for individual fulfillment. We expect to have fulfillment complete in both regions near the end of October.
Asia - Fulfillment is underway for most products. A few add-ons will be arriving separately later on. If you still haven’t gotten a shipping notice, please continue to be patient—some routes through Asia take an addition 2-4 weeks for fulfillment, especially as you move further out from China.
EU, UK, Australia - Fulfillment is complete for the bulk of pledges. Posters will be shipping out a little bit later.
We endeavor to get everything right. However, a small percentage of errors are inevitable. If you receive games with damaged or missing components, please contact us at www.level99games.com/contact-us and we'll do whatever we can to make it right.
If you are in the EU, UK, or Australia and you haven’t received your games or a shipping notice, now is a good time to reach out to us. Keep in mind that if you ordered the Empyreal Posters, those will ship separately.
Because courier delivery times can vary wildly, even within a region, we ask that Asian backers wait an additional 4 weeks before you contact us to report unreceived packages. If you don’t have a shipping notice by the next update, that will be time to reach out and look into things further.
Thanks for your patience and support on this project! Happy gaming!
Greetings friends,
I'm excited to announce that after everything, fulfillment is underway!
A special note about posters:
We endeavor to get everything right. However, a small percentage of errors are inevitable. If you receive games with damaged or missing components, please contact us at www.level99games.com/contact-us and we'll do whatever we can to make it right.
Because courier delivery times can vary wildly, even within a region, we ask that EU and Australia backers wait an additional 2 weeks before you contact us to report un-received packages.
Thanks so much for your support and patience during these tumultuous times, and we're excited to finally deliver on this project!
]]>Greetings friends,
We've got news and progress from the factory this month!
Our printer, Longpack, plans to be finished with the production of Empyreal by the end of October. At that point, all of the game's materials will be printed, though there may still be some assembly steps left to complete.
You can already see that a few of the game materials are finished. These flat sheets will be mounted onto boxes and/or punchboards, then cut to create the game's components.
The next step after production is assembly. Longpack will assemble the first few units of the game, then ship these samples over to us to inspect and approve. These units are called "Factory firsts", and represent exactly what you will receive in the final box.
Usually the factory firsts are perfect (after all, we've reviewed the digital proof already), and this is just a check for final materials and assembly procedures. Occasionally we need some additional padding for shipping protection, or we want to change the order components go into the box for a better 'first unboxing experience'. But it's unlikely there will be any major problems at this point (knock on wood).
Once the factory firsts are approved, the assembly line gets moving in full force, and all games are packed, cartoned, sealed, and put on pallets bound for various destinations around the world.
The last piece of this project is the printing of Grand Chronicle. Longpack produces a lot of artbooks, and so we're lucky to have them producing both projects together for an easy time with logistics. They should start on that production shortly after Empyreal is finished up.
We're still in the process of working out the exact shipping plan for the finished project. However, there are rumors that container prices are starting to stabilize a bit. Keep your fingers crossed, and maybe we'll have this thing delivered without any shipping difficulties after all (knock on wood again).
We are currently in the process of reprinting Bullet♥︎, which sold out earlier this year, alongside Bullet★, a brand new game in the series. Both of those games will be available for pre-order on October 5th. Make sure to reserve your copy on 10/5, and you'll get a download of the Bullet★ soundtrack, as well as Kickstarter-styled international shipping rates from local fulfillment centers!
----
That's all the news for this month! I look forward to sharing more progress with you at the end of October, when we should have the factory firsts in hand.
See you then, and Happy Gaming!
- Brad
Empyreal is chugging along and we've prepared a series of wallpapers and avatars for you so you can rep your favorite lines! And in case you haven't gotten the game yet, you can get it here:
Greetings friends,
Another month has passed, and Empyreal is progressing towards completion. Without further ado, here's the news:
Next week, the Pledge Manager for Empyreal: Far Corners will be closing. Please make sure to finalize your pledge!
As long as you have input your address and paid shipping, you will still be able to update your address until shipping begins.
During July, the digital print proof came in and was reviewed by the team. We approved the production, and added a bit to the budget to cover heavier box construction recommended by our factory partners.
The factory recommended two changes from the first printing to reduce production errors and prolong the life of your game. These small changes—removing foil from punchboards and increasing the thickness of the boxes—were approved after testing in the office.
Far Corners looks great! Here's a preview of all the games coming your way next year!
There will be some minor differences from this sample. The player reference sheets have been shrunk a bit for easier use. The postcards will not have rounded corners.
A Digital Print Sample is hand-made to simulate the final factory product and give the best possible proof before production begins. Miniatures aren't included here because they are identical to the first printing.
While production is in motion, we turn our attention to shipping arrangements.
Right now, worldwide shipping is a bit of a mess. Rates are all over the place and it's difficult to book both ocean and overland freight due to container shortages. Things usually get even worse between November and February.
There is a high likelihood of shipping delays even after Empyreal is produced. There are potential deals being explored now that might help us break through the gridlock. At the moment, May 2022 delivery looks more likely than March.
Please continue to watch this space monthly for updates. As usual, you'll be able to learn about all the developments surrounding the project from our monthly bulletins.

Thank you for being a part of Empyreal and for participating in this project! I'll see you next month for more news!
- Brad
]]>Just a short update today to cover Empyreal's status at the end of June.
Progress is chugging along for Empyreal. Most of the month of June was spent carefully reviewing the game's digital sample files and approving those. After the sample files were approved, the factory sent out a digitally-printed physical proof to test how Empyreal's construction and components will look.
That factory proof came in to our offices just before the Independence Day holiday here in the USA. It will be reviewed later this week for accuracy and quality. Once we've got the proof approved, production can begin!
Please look out for more news soon in this space, and don't forget to fill out your Pledge Manager!

]]>Greetings friends and welcome to the project!
Things have already come a long way in a short time. For this project, we hope that things will be easy and relaxed—there are no stretch goals to chase, and no complicated delivery patterns.
Even so, we are putting things in motion to work with a fulfillment specialist. In past projects, we've had real difficulty coordinating add-ons and extras around the world. This time we plan to involve a company that will help us address these issues.
There is one point of special note on this project. We originally announced The Grand Chronicle as part of BattleCON: Unleashed. The chronicle transformed into a much larger project of its own over its 2-year development cycle. Now it is going to be printed and delivered along with this project, so we'll be sharing previews of the Chronicle alongside Far Corners.
Metros represent major trade hubs in the world. In a game of Empyreal, you can use these Metros to add one large 'super-city' to your game. Connecting your network to this city provides powerful benefits.
Far Corners also includes the full rules for playing with these Metros.
In addition to the tiles that represent Metros in-game, we've created travel postcards and lore to accompany these destinations.
Today I'm excited to show off the 4 new travel postcards that are appearing in Far Corners!
These postcards represent the new metro locations which are included in the game. Each postcard was illustrated by Fábio Fontes, and converted into a poster by Davy Wagnerok. Enjoy!
That's all for this week! Look out for more updates soon. :)
