BattleCON Unleashed Status Update & Grand Chronicle Previews
I have some general news from Level 99 Games, as well as some specific news to this project to share with you today.
Empyreal: Far Corners is now live on Kickstarter. This project is for a reprint of Empyreal: Spells & Steam, along with some new content. I hope that you'll join us for the new project!
Bullet 🍊 (Bullet: Orange) is now available in our online store. If you're outside of the USA, our Launch 99 Program offers an opportunity to get this game at a cheaper shipping rate than buying from the USA. We're offering this until April 20th.
We are now shipping out BlazBlue Exceed from our online store. If you order the new season of Exceed today, you can be playing as early as next week!
Graphic Design is ongoing for the Grand Chronicle. Davy is doing a brilliant job with the project, and I wanted to share some of the spreads from the book.
If you missed out on the Grand Chronicle, you will still have an option to pre-order it with reduced-cost international shipping through Empyreal: Far Corners, either with that project or as an add on.
We are also planning to use the Empyreal: Far Corners project to distribute errata for Unleashed. I'll post more info on that soon, as I'm still working on the precise details with Pledge Manager.
With the dust settled from Millennium Blades and Bullet, we are now preparing to address the final few shortfalls from Unleashed. If you're still waiting on any items, we will reach out to you directly next week to let you know what to expect.
I hope that you are enjoying BattleCON 4th Edition!
We recently posted a very cool customs kit. I look forward to seeing how you will expand the game now that it's in your hands!
We're now considering what's next for this illustrious series. I hope to share some ideas with you soon and hear your feedback in a future update!
Hello! I was wondering if the distributed errata would also include an “upgrade” token sheet? It would be awesome to 100% complete the collection with the correct tokens for us patch folks.
Thanks for all the hard work!
My vote for the future of BattleCON is adapting it to a license, like Dragon Ball.Z (my personal favorite). This will draw new players and revewed interested into this masterpiece.
Even better, partner with Arc Systems Works (makers of Guilty Gear, etc.) to create the BattleCON video game!!! 😆 design could be similar to card game in that moves are done by pairing styles and base moves together as 2 button combos. Something like that.
